Mission
A Wright Beginning Foundation is committed to empowering youth through comprehensive digital literacy programs designed to prepare them for success in the modern world. By offering IT certifications, scholarships, and job-readiness training, we aim to bridge the digital divide in underserved communities and open doors to future educational and career opportunities. Our initiatives go beyond basic access to technology—they provide direct funding for certifications, college preparation resources, and essential support for building strong, competitive résumés. Youth participants gain critical skills in computer etiquette, responsible internet use, online safety, cyberbullying prevention, basic coding, and digital creativity, helping them become confident, capable, and conscientious digital citizens. We also introduce students to STEM pathways and emerging tech careers through mentorship, hands-on learning, and community-based tech initiatives.
In addition to youth programs, A Wright Beginning Foundation empowers adults with practical digital literacy and IT training. From learning how to use email and navigate online platforms to mastering software tools and troubleshooting basic tech issues, our adult education programs are tailored to support lifelong learning, job readiness, and independence in an increasingly digital world. Participants also receive support with digital job applications, online security, and productivity tools that enhance both personal and professional growth.
